People often say to me “Chris, you’re looking great, what’s your secret”? But after swiftly answering “Healthy living and hard work” they also ask about what happens once we’ve left a property that we’ve just cleared? Well, dear reader, as London and the South’s premier property clearance company every job is different and that’s where only half the work is done.

The vans don’t unload themselves (so the lads tell me!) Let me explain…Some customers have special requests and would like certain items taken to a charity as a donation (as long as they have the latest fire regulations-it is illegal for a charity to sell any soft furnishing items without these) some items are taken back to our warehouse for specialist recycling-paint and other chemicals, tv’s, the old cathode ray tube ones, fridges and mattresses to name a few. These items, due to their multi construction and sometime harmful contents, are charged at a premium by waste recycling sites so we have to be savvy in where we take them in order to keep the costs down for you, the customer and to ensure that they are recycled and not just taken to the landfill like so many other companies do (booo! Shame on you!) Wood is separated as is hardcore or any bricks and those old kitchen tiles you had in the cupboard (we’ve all got them!) and roof tiles from 1958!

So when the boys wave you goodbye with a cheery smile (it’s in their contract to smile) the job is only half done but you can sleep soundly in the knowledge that not only have you had the good fortune of engaging London and the South’s premier property clearance company but you’re saving the planet at the same time!#TeamLavender#1
